I have been offered a very simple solution on how the My Network section could be made much more user-friendly. Quoting Deborah Workman: It seems that this would work better if instead of Friends/Who befriended you tabs, there was just one screen of friends with an icon or word that showed “Befriended by” status perhaps by displaying the username in that column, which perhaps could be sortable by clicking on the header. I suggest that the view toggles be placed at the top of the screen (either only or additionally) so that the user does not have to scroll to the bottom of a long list to choose this option.
So I thought about doing it Netscape or StumbleUpon style maybe to make this more visible. Any ideas from other testers on how you would want to work with your friends within Profy? |

Another problem I have faced is that you offer different things for time zone selection in your profiles.
Currently we have a list of time zones for each country. But I was told that it is better to switch to standard GMT+ and GMT- version. Or maybe you have other suggestions? Please, let me know what arrangement would be the best for time zone selection in the comments below. Thank you in advance.

Dear beta testers, I think it is just natural if we start the discussions concerning some bugs you report right here, in the comments section (besides, I'm sure we will find some more bugs in the process :) so it will be even more useful to me, the bugs-hunter here).
The first thing I wanted to discuss with you was the location problem. The thing is that we here decided that we will only provide the list of states for the US only (basically, it is due to the fact that we only found a public database of states for the US only). But it looks like it is either not evident to users from other countries or confusing.
Quoting Ted Russ:
I appreciate that when I set Australia as my home country, it needs for a list
of states to be downloaded - but we only have seven, and at this point, it still
hasn't happened... So you need for country selection to trigger either proper
state selection, or else deactivate the State field.
I think it is obvious that something should be done about this so I will appreciate comments from all of you about two questions:
1. Should we add selection of states/regions/provinces for all the countries? 2. If we make it possible to select a region no matter what country you live in, how should we name the field (State/Region/Province or you can think of some better versions)? 3. If it is only possible to select the state if you live in the US, how should we make it more visible and obvious for people from other countries that they will not be given any list of regions?
Please, leave your comments, I am sure we will find a solution together.
