Here is my first post on this blog.

So why do so few people interact with a blog by leaving a comment. There is an element of anonymity when adding a comment so shyness is no excuse. And there’s no lack of passion or controversy sparked by the posts as I regularly overhear them being discussed. So why do only 1% of readers leave a comment? I don't think it's about people being shy. My personal reason is usually that I feel that I can not add any additional value to what the author told. But if I do, I will definitely leave a comment.Another reason for me to comment is when I strongly (and by strongly I mean STRONGLY) disagree with the author's position. Such comments usually result in an interesting discussion that may become even more interesting than the comment itself.

Interesting thought! Like yourself I usually do not post based on the fact I agree with the author or because I do not know the topic that well. In some instances I will leave a comment if I strongly disagree about the content of the article or if it was so well written that it had me hooked from beginning to end than I like to openly give credit for same.http://cvminc.profy.com/blog/post/61188/
